This may bleach the colors a bit but hydrogen peroxide is safe for wool in small amounts. I've never tried it but a peroxide based stain remover like Grandma's Secret may work. Actually, I may try this on some of my wool.

Oxy clean soak. That stuff is amazing. I've used it on wool several times. Natural colored wool comes out really bright and clean. Don't soak too long with colored wool though. I've never had a problem, but better safe then sorry.

I can't recommend Ewe Need It Wool Wash highly enough - it got out old, ground in GUM from some Twisty Trousers! It also worked on berry stains and general grime - I can't believe how much dirt is in the sink when I finish soaking!

OK I'll keep trying some of these suggestions! Soaking in Tide Now...figured i'd put them wet WITH tide on them out in sun for the day...I can go buy some oxyclean too, need it for DS's food covered shirts all the time anyway lol just used up the Shout.
