top of stairs baby gate - recommendations, pls!

We just moved into a new home with stairs. The house has laminate flooring including the stairs. We need to install a babygate at the top of the stairs ASAP. Must be the kind that screws into the wall. Please spam me with pictures, links, your opinion, etc. BRU doesn't have anything in the store that will work. We bought one and had to take it back. Their website has LOTS that might, but I'd like some advice before I order blindly.

FWIW the staircase is 42" wide. a taller gate would be nice, but it cannot be taller than 34" due to the kind of molding we have on the bannisters :/

We have this one.
It's unfinished wood, so we sanded it lightly and stained it to match the rest of the woodwork around it. It blends nicely, was affordable (actually we got it at the consignment store for like $10 nib), and installs easily. It's also hard for kids to open, which we like.

We have the "kidco safeway gate" that they sell on amazon... Cant figure out how to link to it on the phone. Super easy install and very, very sturdy. Easily adjusts to fit the size you need. The only thing i would say is that you should get some longer screws, even if you are screwing into studs. We used deck screws after the included ones pulled loose.
It will come off the hinges easily too (only if you want it to lol) if you need to remove it to move something big.
