My post disappeared..
CBC doesn't show everything. My boy friend in college was very very very I'll after a sand dune hike we went on. Everything came back normal. Normal. Clear. Nothing. After 3 weeks of joint and neck pain that was agonizing (leaving him mostly immobile) he finally got dx with west Nile. He was fine awhile later. I'm gonna say, In time, you will be back to normal, big hugs.

Have they tested your B12 levels? I was tested 9 years ago for MS. I had so many symptoms of it. I do not have MS but low b12 which mimics many of the symptoms.
Ironically while I was waiting for my appt with the neuro DH was diagnosed with MS. He has 1 episode of optic neuritis that lasted a month(unusual to be so short). He does have some brain lesions. He has no had a mri since his first appointment. He has never had another episode of anything. The neuro is not questioning the MS diagnosis but us surprised he hasn't had more symptoms. Dh has Relapsing/remitting MS which if you were to have MS it us the kind a person would wish to have. It can turn into Chronic but doesn't always. Our GP has had a patient in remission for 22 years, dh has been in remission for 10 years. He has never been on any medication for it either. His neuro won't prescribe it until you've had 2 episodes within 2 years

Re: MS, lupus, Arthritis
AI seem like they come on gradually over a long period of time while your symptoms are pretty short term (so far) and sudden. If you are being tested for it i dont think its impossible. Its scary to get this kind of diagnosis but imo its much easier to deal with your illness if you know what it is. What is the next step if the ANA is negative?

Pinched nerve in my neck possibly. I'm still leaning towards arthritis. It runs in my family.

I had a diagnosis of ms from a neurologist, but saw a second nuero for another opinion. The second only saw 2 brain lesions and 4 spinal lesions, which was not enough for a diagnosis so we held off. my main issue was complete loss of balance which I regained after 2 years of therapy, but I still walk to the side. I also have muscle fasciculation's in my feet and hands. Most people have RRMS and can have periods with no symptoms and the treatments can really curb the side effects of the disease and most live full lives. Typically the first sign is optic neuritis (which i have had 3 times in 10 years). Try not too worry much, I know its tough. ((hugs))

Would lupus cause IBS? I do have that. I take anti-spasm meds for it.

Re: MS, lupus, Arthritis
Do you have your galbladder? People who have had their galbladder removed often get ibs symptoms as a result.
