7/31 Update: added a couple more pics. Finally not feeling so zombie like after pulling my all nighter. Labor started in earnest about 7pm on Saturday night and we had the midwife come around 10pm. She got everything set up and we called the family around 11:30. I got to spend some time in the water which seemed to help the contrax not feel as intense. About 3:30 I started feeling some contractions that were more pushy and she said I could push if I wanted to. It felt better to push then to not, so I pushed... and pushed.. and pushed. I was so tired and just wanted to be done already and didn't understand why I still needed to push! The midwife had me get out of the pool and try sitting on the toilet since she could sense I was nearing the end of my strength and though that the contractions might not be strong enough... After several extremely pain-filled contractions she asked if I wanted to lay on the bed and she would see what was happening... Turns out I had a tiny lip of cervix still in the way, she moved it (while I screamed!!!) and suddenly I was complete and Reagan was in my arms no less then 5 minutes later. Not the peaceful, quick water birth I was hoping for but she has totally been worth all the waiting!!!

Quick phone update. Born at home as planned at 5:30 this morning at 16 days overdue. 9.6lbs, 22 inches,13.5 inch head and 14 inch chest. We are doing great! Yeah for no stitches
