I'm doomed.

buy last diaper/cover needs
buy going home outfit
take out and wash covers for: stroller, carseat, swing, bouncer
buy DD bigger carseat and switch DS2 to DD's current one
wash/prep diapers
set up pack n play in our room
set up diaper station in our room
pack diaper bag and hospital bag
sell double stroller
buy pump parts
buy PP pads
get Moby wrap back from friend
buy batteries for swing and bouncer

Other random projects I want to get done before baby:
catch up on DD and DS2's baby books
update pregnancy journal
make memory boxes for kids
copy pics from laptop to external hard drive and burn to DVDs
laptop backup
file giant stack of papers/old bills/receipts
update diaper inventory sheet
update book inventory sheet
drink wine

Maybe not till after baby arrives since we'll be rearranging rooms depending on baby's gender:
set up crib in the kids' room
wash and put crib bedding on

Re: October Mamas' To-do Lists

How's everyone coming along on their to-do lists? I feel like I got a lot accomplished in the last two days and came here to cross it all off and discovered it was stuff I just added and isn't even on the "important" list above. GAH! So I'm no closer to being done than I was two days ago. *sigh*

I hope you mamas are getting more done than I am!!

Yeah, I did the same thing! Still so much to do. What I really need is for someone to take my kids for the weekend so dh and I can really get some things done. Plus, I'm starting to really get uncomfortable so it's becoming harder to do a lot. Eek! Time is going by too fast!

Re: October Mamas' To-do Lists

Hmmm.. I've been doing a ton of stuff, so I wish I would have started the list earlier so I could cross lots off!

To Do:
Wash carseat cover, wipe down carseat
Sell friend's diapers for her to free up some $$ (she's giving me half the profit)
Finish setting up hair room (specifically, get an appliance holder for the hair station)
Get new towels and supplies for hair room
Gather postpartum stuff- pads, nipple cream, nursing pads,
KNIT ALL THE THINGS
Wash baby blankets
Wash bassinet stuff
Set up bassinet
Set up dresser in our room for the baby
PRAY OVER ALL THE THINGS
Wash breast pump stuff
Hopefully DH will get the egress windows for the basement in.. We have one room with them in that I have moved the big girls down to, but we need to get at least one more done so they don't have to be crammed down there together.. I at least got them down to the basement (it's a walkout! Not a pit of despair!)
Did I mention KNIT ALL THE THINGS?!

After 38 weeks:
Make list for hospital
Pack hospital bag
Make sure I have childcare lined up for other four

Oh I hear ya on that! Most of the stuff I have left are things I really can't do with kiddos underfoot. So, I have to wait until bedtime to get them done or on the rare chance they actually sleep during nap time.

DH took the kids up north to his mom's for an entire weekend early in my 2nd trimester so that I could go crazy and nest and clean to my heart's content. It was soo lovely. But like you, I'm getting too big and uncomfortable to do too much so I'm feeling the crunch now. YIKES!!

I DID finish up DD's baby book last night though and that is a HUGE HUGE relief! She's going to be turning 5 in November and it's been on my list for years now. I think I put about 8 hrs in to get it all finished and the pictures and things sorted and pasted in. Next up is DS2's and then I can make up their memory boxes and get all of their stuff put in so it's all in one nice little spot and updated. But even after another 8 hrs or so to get his done, I'm only going to be crossing off ONE thing from my list. Gah!

AAACK! You just reminded me of another goal I had.. I don't have DD's book done either. She's 6! And DS is 4!

I know, it's so hard to catch up once you're behind! My littles are turning 5 and 3, so it's been bugging for a LONG time. I was going to jump right into DS's today but I needed one day of a break before jumping into it. It took a lot of work, lol.

If you need resources for what things costed back when they were born, I have some links I can post. That was the first thing I did. Then I had to go through and sort pictures and pull/print the ones I needed for the books. Luckily, I already had all of the firsts written down (when/how old/etc) as well as doctor visit stats. The other stuff I couldn't remember I was able to figure out by picture date (like her first haircut, I just looked at what the timestamp on the pictures was). Then throwing it all together wasn't as bad. It's all the prep beforehand that took a while. Hoping DS's won't take as long since his stuff is more recent and easier for me to remember.

It's going to feel insanely good to only have one baby book to fill out when this little one arrives!
