Hi ladies, new here to this forum!
Hi ladies! Im new to this forum. Yay! I plan to hs my ds for pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade for now. I have read a bunch of books on different methods and I think I have chosen Before Five in a Row. Now my next task is to set up his learning area. He has plenty of space in his room including a small table. I think I still need to purchase:
a clock (not real)
a wall calendar
a weather poster
some more art stuff
border to hang to 'frame' his work!
I just found the classroom thread, and Im so happy to see your classrooms! Great ideas!! If anyone wants to volunteer a sample of their daily schedule for prek/kind I would be much appreciative!
Oh and I already have this stuff: (anything not listed that you think are a must have for your prek/kindergartener, please tell me!!)
abc magic printing cards (dry erase crayon)
abc cards for the wall
lots of crayons, markers and paper
books, lots of books!
foam shapes and cards w/patterns
you mamas are terrific! I cant wait to start this new journey in our lives!!

Looks like you have a lot of great stuff already!
My kids love shaving cream to practice writing numbers and letters.
