Is this layette good enough?
I bought up some things for hot weather at the 25cent sale at Once Upon A Child when I realized I wasn't going to be putting my baby in footed sleepers while the weather is still 100+!!!!
10 tshirts 11 outfits 6 gowns Blankets galore 4 sweaters 6 hats Socks/ bibs/ burp cloths 8 wool covers 2 longies 12 PUL covers nb/ small sizes 13 fitteds 27 pf’s wipes and warmer and pail a few sposies car seat cosleeper lambswool pad stroller sling I just don't remember what I had for the others- I feel so clueless this time; just haven't been able to prepare as obsessively with the move and all. Do I need anything else? Thanks for the help .

See I WILL probably be putting my babe in footed sleepers. My son wears em now. Fleece ones even. But my house is odd, all bedrooms are on lower level, in the ground about 3 feet and it stays way cool down here.

Nice! I can't get our bedroom under 80 degrees for anything

Re: Is this layette good enough?
The only thing I'd add is maybe some onsies or more tshirts, though I'm not sure what's included with the outfits. Newborns can go through basic clothes very quickly but if you plan to dolaundry often it looks good to me!

Re: Is this layette good enough?
Yes, I'm doing as load every day anyway, so I figure I won't be doing loads of only baby clothes this time around! Plus family will send gifts, I'm supposing, when baby arrives.

Good point that ppl will send gifts too. I had forgotten but we got a lot of clothes after ds is born. Not to mention that if were having a girl, my BFF already has like 5 outfits and 5+ sleepers she showed me. She doesn't have kids so she likes to shop for mine. (honestly I've bought like 2 NEW clothing items for my son in 21 months. I'll buy secondhand or my BFF gets him new stuff) But if u r doing laundry every day, shouldn't need much, right?
