So I noticed yesterday I had some light brown spotting in my underwear..didn't think much of it. Today ive seen a little bit more on the panty liner-very very light brown. Nothing when I wipe. Is this normal this late in the pregnancy? Around 7-8 weeks I had light brown discharge for about a week I got that checked out on u/s and tech said she saw nothing that would contribute to bleeding. If I have it tomorrow again I might call the MW just to ask if it's normal and see what she says.

i would call. Have you dtd recently? I had spotting at 19.5 weeks with michael and it was horrifying and they couldn't find a reason and it went away...but i wouldn't say it's normal per se...just not abnormal. make sense?

Exactly - not "normal" but quite possibly nothing, especially if you just had intercourse.

If my calculations are correct you are right around 12 weeks, right? And your last spotting was about 4 weeks ago? I had my full period for the first 6 months of my pregnancy with DS2, it is possible that you are experiencing a very light normal cycle. If you are worried, get it checked, but if not, expect it again in about 4 weeks!

I had one baby I spotted every 4 weeks until 16 weeks....just like a cycle. If it is brown, it is old. I wouldn't worry unless it turns red.

it has just been a teeny, tiny bit. like a light brown streak. if i notice more of it today i will defenitly call. thanks for your input!

I had that a couple weeks ago too. Just a tiny bit. I didn't worry about it because I've had it with both of my previous pregnancies. But if you're worried don't hesitate to call - thats why we pay them.
