TIDE FREE AND GENTLE ???? LIQUID?

Okay so I know this is a hot topic on here so looking for honest opinions. Natural detergents just do not clean as good as mainstream... but there is a reason for that, it wasn't created in a chemistry lab.

However, in the case of cloth CLEAN is important not only for baby and stink but your sanity. SOOO with that said, who has good luck with Tide Free and Gentle Liquid HE? I normally use tide original powder he but my daughter is really sensitive.

I tried switching to Tiny Bubbles, but it just doesn't clean the same and SUDS a ton! I can't find Tide FG in HE powder form, if someone knows where, please share! If you use the powder form in a front loader, please let me know how!

So for now, how does the liquid work? Since switching to powder in my front loader we have no stink problems with our washer or our laundry and someone shared that it was the lack of animal fats in the powder and better rinsing that keeps the washer smelling fresher, thus clothes cleaner.

I love the clean of tide but am a little apprehensive to switch back to liquid in order to get fragrance free. So I would love to hear your experience.

Re: TIDE FREE AND GENTLE ???? LIQUID?

I have a crappy LG frontloader - and Tide F&G liquid is what it takes to get my diapers clean.

Oh I knew how much it sucked the first load I did in it! But no returns so we were stuck with it.
I FINALLY got a working wash routine for my diapers!

I have an LG frontloader and have tried Tide Free, tiny bubbles, and rockin green. Tide ALWAYS leaves me with stains. Tiny Bubbles too. RnG gets out the stains every time if I use the sanitary setting, but in any case it does a better job than the other two.

I, too, have had great luck w/regular Tide HE liquid. I tried the F&G powder and it was terrible for us - awful stink.

I'd be curious to see more replies on this as well. Tide original liquid works great for me, but honestly, the Tide scent is a little overwhelming, and in combination with pee I find it to be a bit unpleasant.

Re: TIDE FREE AND GENTLE ???? LIQUID?

I've been using the Tide Free and Clear HE Liquid. It does seem to get the diapers clean, but the stink after a few washes is very noticeable. I just stripped my diapers this weekend and it took four hot washes with blue dawn and extra rinses to get them smelling like nothing again. I tried bleaching every few washes and it didn't work. FWIW I have an HE top loader. So that could be the difference.
