Eep! So as SOON as it was midnight, I grabbed my rotary cutter and took it to a 5T shirt that my MIL got DD at a yard sale (um...5T?! She's in 12 months! LOL), and I made it into THIS! It has a few stain spots on it, so I added heart appliques on those areas. I still don't quite got the neckband down I think...so I traced a new pattern to use as the front with the neck a little lower, so I'm not using the same cut out for the front and back...Dunno if it'll help or not, but I'm going to try it tomorrow. If anyone has any tips for that neckband, let me know! It seems to fit more like a turtle neck instead of flat like I want it to...

BTW, these are really horrible phone pictures...The bottom of the shirt isn't really crooked like that, but it's too late to bring out the camera. I'm too sleepy. lol

BTW, I have NO idea how to add up points for this...the front and sleeves were upcycled from the shirt MIL bought for us, and the back is just material from my stash, as is the applique and collar...so how in the world do I do calculations for this? =/

ETA, I didn't wake my dd to try it on, but I'm going by the jammie top I made her the other night. The neckband is exactly the same (except on this one I used zigzag stitch to make it more stretchy since we have issues getting the other one over her head). I'll put it on her tomorrow morning and see if the neckband lays flat or not...but it LOOKS like a turtleneck type collar, so I don't have high hopes for it...will the cutting the front part of the shirt lower make a difference, or am I doing something else wrong? =/ I traced the pattern from an existing shirt because I couldn't really find premade ones for free online.

I went by my local time (Central)...I didn't even think about going by Eastern Time...

Okay, so just as soon as it hit midnight DH woke up cause DD3 was sleeping in bed with him and she peed. in our bed. and DH just said...she peed and then got on the couch

So after getting her cleaned up and our bed cleaned up and all I finally cut out the ruffley pants that I'm making for DD. I had 1 leg ruffle to go and my sewing machine woke her up. This is why I fail at this game. I'm determined to finish said pants in the morning.

Heres where I'm at. I hate ruffles but they're so darn cute.

andI know this doesn't count towards pic post I just wanted to show ya that I really was doing something
