I can't stand how my body handles all the different hormonal changes it goes through during my cycle. I feel like I have morning sickness around when I ovulate and then I spend my whole luteal phase with a nasty case of PMS. I don't want touched by anyone, I'm exhausted, the thought of sex nauseates me, and I'm in a terrible mood the whole time. I really wanted to stay away from hormonal BC but I hate this. What else can I do to level out?

I've heard awesome success stories from people using NaPro Technology. (Stands for Natural Procreative Technology, I believe). They are experts on figuring out what exactly is causing the problem and then treating the real cause. Birth control is more of a band-aid.

So I figured out that what they suggest is targeted hormone replacement. It seems like they're one center, in Omaha.

From what I understand, they are centered in Omaha, but they have doctors and trained practitioners all over the country who can help. Let me see if I can find some more info on how you can find someone. I have a friend who is very experienced in it, I believe shetrain trained practitioner. I'll ask her.

I have never had a need for it myself, but if I did, that's the first thing I would try. I've personally heard so many success stories for all sorts of cases and I know a few doctors who swear by their methods of really understanding what is going on in a woman's body and treating the real root problem. Good luck! Worth a phone call, at least.

You can learn the Creighton Method long distance (via Skype or phone) if there are no practitioners nearby. If there are no NaProTechnology medical consultants nearby, the center in Omaha can do all of the bloodwork and manage your medical case long distance - they are totally used to working with people who live all around the country but don't have nearby medical consultants. Good luck - I hope you get the help you need!
