Congratulations!!! Depending on your Dr, you might be seen asap, or they might have you wait until you're farther along. I personally like going in asap just because it's so exciting and it makes it seem more real.

Oh and I always take a digital test too. Seeing the word just makes it that much more real. And I'd rather post that on facebook than two lines.

Congrats! Call your doctor you are most comfortable with and you can move forward from there. Out could be a good idea to interview a few docs/midwives so you make an informed choice of who will be overseeing your care. There are lists of interview questions online.

YAY!!!! You're so strong to be able to wait that long!

Definitely shop around for the care provider who is going to be with you through this pregnancy. With my first I just took the guy at the top of the list of people my insurance would cover, I ended up switching at 7 months and the person I switched to turned out to be a nightmare.

I know its very early but now is the time to think about how you feel about your birthing options.

Do you want pain relief?
How much prenatal screening do you want to do?
Where do you want to give birth? (some providers only deliver at certain hospitals)
What are the Cesarian section rates of this provider? How do you feel about a possible C-section?
How do you feel about episiotomy?

I don't mean for you to answer these questions for me but these are the questions I wish I had asked myself and known my own answer to before I picked my OB. Don't be afraid ask detailed questions.
