Re: Facial moisturizer.

So after doing even more research, I've decided to stick with california baby for now. The amount of reviews I've read on coconut oil breaking skin out worse have been so much higher the amount saying it works well. All the ones I've read say it works well for a couple days to a week then cause bad acne and those hard zits that can last for months. NO thank you. I will be using it to make my homemade deodorant but not as a facial moisturizer. I'll just stick with my california baby and kiss my face creams.

Re: Facial moisturizer.

I have oily skin and therefore do not like to use coconut-oil for my face. What for me works is aloe vera gel. I like the one from sensious beauty. Very pure, no weird chemicals.

Re: Facial moisturizer.

I have clear skin that gets just a bit dry after washing, so I'll use EVCO fom time to time, but it doesn't seem to soak in quickly enough and my bangs get SO greasy from touching my forehead after I put it on. So I've switched to organic jojoba oil and it is so much better - soaks in quickly and no greasy bangs! I just use about 2 or 3 drops. But if you want an actual lotion, you could look into 100 Percent Pure. I haven't actually looked at their ratings on the toxicity scale, but their ingredients seem really, really good. They are pricey, though! I buy their stuff for my mom at Christmas and for her birthday. HTH!
