Oh well. I've learned to pick my battles.

You doing broc/cauli this fall? or just next year?
I think it will have to be next year. We are only 30-40 days from frost. We usually have early-ish sept frost then the hard frosts start early oct. so i don't think there is enough time. I might check seeds tomorrow and see if i can get a short growing season variety. Then i might try some this fall. I do have access to the heated greenhouse if i put them in pots, but not sure they would do well?

It's a helper bug/animal. Like a butterfly, a bird, bees, lady bird beetles, ect. They either pollinate or eat the bad bugs.

Its just a little one. (like maybe 150 sq ft) but it has an old radiator attached to in ground heating, so we start out plants in there in the early spring and then can move our plants in there in the fall. My peppers are all still in there in pots. We also use it for drying our onions for storage. Fil also hooked it up to the infloor heating/coal stoker that is attached to the shop. We have TONS of land so the boys have spoiled us.

I've decided to just wait till next year for the broccoli and am gonna hit the farmers market on thurs and hope the hutterites have some
