This year I got down to 134 for DS's birthday party in February by cutting out carbs for a month. After that I failed at my diet and gained it back.
I started C25K and starting lifting and was doing good but I got lazy.
Now I'm back at 150. My shorts are getting tighter and I hate it. I do NOT want to buy new fat clothes. I would rather get skinny again and fit into my size 5 shorts!

Anyway, we are throwing a party at the beach for DD and DS in the beginning of February. That gives me 5 months to lose the weight. I want to lose 25 pounds, so thats a totally realistic 5 pounds a month.

I know it doesn't seem like much, but with me cheating and my diet and being too lazy to workout, it's a big deal.

So help keep me accountable or join me and we can keep each other accountable!

yay! I was thinking of starting on Sept 1st, you know, make it a full 5 months. I just really need to make sure I exercise and eat well. I have no will power it is amazing how weak I am when it comes to dieting.

I'm game!! I actually need to lose 35, but 25 would make me SOOOOO happy before I get pregnant again (fingers crossed)

I'll join. We should start logging food/exercise on this thread. Original Poster - it's a *little* negative to say things like you're trying to get "hot." Thin does not equal hot! Confidence does! But a healthy weight is a good thing! I am 183 and my goal is 135, but my sub-goal is 150. So, first, I need to lose 33 pounds then go from there.

I'm sorry if you found it offensive, but i wasn't referring to anyone but myself. I do not feel hot or attractive at this weight. And yes, it is all about confidence. But for me, personally, i would like to be at a realistic weight so i can feel "hot." I am 5'2" and 150 pounds right now, and technically very much overweight. For someone who used to be anorexic and bulimic, that is crazy high.
Not saying its not a healthy weight for others. It could very well be. But for me, it is too heavy.
But i will edit my post as to not offend anyone else.

swam a little over 1/2 mile twice last week, once the week before, and three times the week before that (the first week i started exercising after having my baby!)! haven't gone at all yet this week, will post when i do!

also - haven't had any cookies, candy, or other sweets in over 3 weeks!

I would love to join. I'm 165 and would like to be 140 if not less. So 25 lbs is a good start off. My DH and I have been wanting to join a gym. I'm just so tired of being overweight. I don't want to leave the house in fear of people I know seeing me. This has to stop. I want to enjoy life and have my DS grow up healthy and have good parents as examples. We can do this!

I was hoping to see 162 this am, but got 163.0. I am hoping for tomorrow! I deffinently need to lose 25 plus pounds after this last baby. I am ready to be healthy and skinny for me again. I would love to fit into my old clothing. I know losing this weight will help my fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis a bit.
