Anyone freeze, can or juice melons? I'm considering canteloupe specifically.

And what about pineapple? If i could get some one sale i'm thinking that the acid levels are high enough to safely can?

You can make cantaloupe pickles with them, but if you freeze them, they will get really mushy and you can't can them plain. I don't see why you couldn't juice them, if you have a juicer.

Pineapple you can can.

Canteloup pickles? Never heard of them! I'm assuming thye are sweet like bread and butter?

Mil has a juicer i can borrow. Can i freeze the juice? I plan to freeze all my apple, raspberry and saskatoon juice.

Just about any melon other than watermelon freezes well. I haven't tried the other stuff but I think melon juice would be a bit too sweet? It has an awful lot of natural sugar.

cantaloupe juice is kind of weird, but I am not a big fan of fruit juices anyway. We made a juice using cantaloupe and it was weird and very, very sweet.
