I have never had a nurse or receptionist not want to hold my baby. They would probably love holding your baby for you!

I would bring a bouncy seat, however I am blessed with an assortment of family and friends that are more then willing to tag along with me to my appts.

I would skip but I had some problems with delivery they want to check and also had a high grade abnormal pap last year.

I held my daughter during my pp stitches! When I came in to have my stitches looked at 4 days later, my midwife had her 5ish month old baby in her arms. When I came in for my 2 week appointment, the nurse at my birth center took off with my baby! I'm sure one way or another, someone will hold your baby =)
