Re: To all of you tide users out there...
Original HE liquid. I used Free and Clear for a long time, but wanted to try something different. I have been washing our diapers in Tide (with a bit of bleach) for 2.5 years now and have had no stink, no issues. It has been wonderful. (vs. my experience 8 years ago with CD detergents, ammonia burns on my baby, and stink to the high heaven) Tide has been great.

I use Tide ultra with no problems. I use about a heaping tablespoon followed by an extra rinse cycle on large load setting with a TL washer.I always ck for suds during rinse cycle, but usually 1 extra rinse is enough.

Re: To all of you tide users out there...
For those of you that use Tide with bleach or add in a bit of extra bleach, does it hurt your dipes? I was afraid to use any bleach with mine, other than once in a blue moon. I thought it would hurt the PUL for some reason... This is a great thread! Thanks for starting it, I had been wondering which Tide to use as well!

Re: To all of you tide users out there...
I'm currently using Tide with Bleach. I used and LOVED original Tide, but Tide Ultra just wasn't working for me. Been having problems ever since the end of last summer when the city added an alkalizer to the water supply. So far the Tide with Bleach is working much better than plain Tide Ultra, and I haven't had any fading (it says it's color safe, so I'm not sure it's actually chlorine bleach in there), but I'm only about a quarter of the way through the small box so far. I'm using in a FLer, so I don't use much or I get major suds. Probably about 3 Tbsp for a full load. It's halfway to the 1 line.

I have used Ultra Tide powder and liquid Tide (both HE). I have also used F&G powder. The F&G did a terrible job for us and I constantly had stink. The Ultra Tide does fine but seems to irritate my DS's skin if I use it exclusively. The liquid Tide has been awesome for us, though.

Re: To all of you tide users out there...
Tide original liquid, the powder irritates DD skin & it left me with bad stinky diapers. I always rinse a ton with the liquid bcuz of the strong smell but cleans them the best out of anything else I've used.

Tide ultra powdered. We've been using it 6+ months and it's been working great! I usually go 4 days between washing too, so I know there are some gross diapers getting clean!
