First grovia and I am in love. Will these feelings continue?

I used the original grobaby with my son who is now 3 and the only bit I updated to Grovia are the shells when I had my daughter. I still use the original inserts and they work great. I've tried other diapers, but these are hands down my favorite diaper!

I like Grovia shells, a lot. My son can out pee a stay dry soaker in under 2 hours now though, so they stay in the drawer. We have used the shells with padfolded flats, trifolded infant prefolds and trifolded applecheeks bamboo inserts.

I had 95% GroBaby stash with my daughter who is now 3 1/2, many of the shells were rotated out to GroVias, as I had a small stash for a long time (8 shells, 16 soakers!) and with my son I have 24 AIOs and 12 hybrid shells and 18 stay dry hybrid inserts, even though Nana was kind enough to gift him with the AIOs, I could very easily live off of just the hybrids and be completely content. I did add boosters with my daughter after age two, but I kept those all for DS as they were in great shape, so he will have plenty of them to use. My only regret is that I sold my nature snap shell when I needed some money and now I miss it. And somewhere along the way my mandarin snap shell was lost, and I miss that color too. The thing I love about hybrids though is that I can cycle covers in and out independently of the inserts. I could easily live off a stash of hybrids, and half a dozen prefolds, half a dozen fitteds, for under my wool that I also love.

We love our Grovias too!!! Although I use them mostly for daytime and as a cover over a sbish fitted for night. We also use the shell alone as a swim diaper for by 16mo an 3yo. I do prefer to put a pocket on my daughter in the am, when she usually does her business....I find it easier to clean the poo off a pocket because it seems to get caught in lots of hidden areas on the GroVia inserts. I do prefer the cotton inserts over the stay dry, they seem more absorbent and less bulky...but that is just a personal preference. Also lover the aplix and snaps, we send aplix to daycare and easier for my husband to use, but i like the snaps. I will continue using them for years!!! Glad you gave them a try!

I love my Gro-Vias! I bought about 6 back when my son was 4 months old, now he is 18 mos and I still use them and love them.

I just got my first Grovias a few weeks ago and am kicking myself for choosing Flips over Grovias initially. I love them. I am actually in the process of trading for some more and am so excited to get the next batch! I would still get a few pockets you can adjust for overnights in case you end up with a HW overnight.

Oh, another plus to these diapers. One my husband was actually impressed with, and might help him justify buying more. I can close DS's legs all the way. With my prefolds in flips they only close so far and then the bulk stops them.
