labor in contacts vs. glasses

Contacts. And I was always in a hospital and they never said anything to me???

Glasses for the birth.

Ds my water broke at 430am and we went to the hospital and I didn't know how long it'd be. Ended up being at 623pm.

Dd I was induced at night and took my contacts out around 11pm. Had her at 617 am.

But I wonder if its due to the possibility of being put to sleep- are they afraid they'll get lost or stuck in your eyes? Is that possible?

and then lots of things that said it's just a liability issue so you can't sue on the rare case your eyes have problems afterwards. Covering their butts like usual!
