Wow, that's an awesome time! I run slower than that, but I don't focus so much on time since I go long distance.

I did 8 on Sunday and it was gorgeous out! I felt great afterwards too. I think after a year and a 1/2 of running I'm finally starting to get the hang of it.

I know I am in the minority, but I actually prefer running on the treadmill to running outside.
Which is good, since winter is coming soon. LOL!

I am going to be joining you ladies soon. I am planning on doing a local half marathon at the end of February 2013 and the RnR San Diego marathon in June 2013.

I have been looking at different training plans for the marathon and am not finding one that I like to much. It seems as though all the plans I have seen start with lower mileage on the shorter runs then I am currently running. Right now I run 4 days a week and my runs are normally a 4-5 mile on Tuesday, a 7 mile on Wednesday, a 4-5 mile on Friday and a 6-8 mile run on Sunday.
Anyone have any suggestions on good plans to follow?

I'll see if I can find the plan I loosely used last time. Sounds like you would need an intermediate running plan rather than beginner. I'm training now with a friend who's running a 1/2 in 2 weeks and we run 4x/wk 4 miles each and then a long run on Sunday. We started the long run at 6 miles and now we are up to 10.

I agree. I'll likely be running that same marathon. Lol

My 10 mile run is scheduled for this weekend as well.
It will be the longest I have ever run, so I am excited to give it a go!!
