Now my body is just being cruel!

So I've been having contractions on and off all day nothing really in a pattern, but there have been a few that have stopped and made me do a little breathing and focusing to get through.

So after supper I decided to use the contraction timer to get an idea of what they are doing. Here is my pattern - I have a contraction every 5-6 minutes in a definate pattern the first contraction lasts about 30 seconds and the second contraction lasts 1min and 15-45 seconds. So I have 5-6 minutes a small short contraction that ends quickly but it is definately a contraciont 5-6 minutes and then a longer more intense contraction that lasts more than a minute. The longer contraction I usually have to do some breathing through and maybe even stop and do some focusing the short one is short enough and "peaks" fast enough that I don't need to do much. Oh and in between my stomach doesn't "loosen up" it still feels tight like a BH but I don't feel it (if that makes sense).

This has been going on for an hour now with no change. So different from DD I woke up with her with strong contractions 5 minutes apart and within an hour they had moved to 3 minutes apart so we left for the hospital (an hour and 15 minutes away).

I feel your pain! I have been at 3cm+, 90% and 0 station since Friday with contractions every 8-10 minutes. The Dr said she would induce last Friday, but if I can mak it to Friday the 11th,, I will get my bonus at work. Which would be really nice because it worth more than 1/2 month paycheck. Dr just laughed when I said I wanted to make the week
