Acts in the second trimester
Ok, so I started a study of Acts a month ago and didn't get past the first day... Lame, I know. I need an accountability partner/group.
Plus, I just moved and we cannot find a church here. We have never had this much trouble... I miss studying. Does anyone want to do a study of Acts with me in the Second tri? I am going to be listening to a sermon series from our old pastor: Dr. Ken Mitchell of Westside Chapel in Jacksonville, FL. He is super excellent at spelling it all out and giving a history of the passage so you really understand what you are reading in context. There are about 40 lessons... 60 days... Who is with me?? Anyone interested? We could even do it til the end of prego if that is a better time frame.

Re: Acts in the second trimester
I might be interested. Send me some more info about it. I had to laugh when I saw where you are located.
Two years ago, we moved to the Arlington/ Marysville area to help start a church. My husband never found work and we ended up moving back to PA. However, our dear friends and little church are still there. And both of them are pregnancy and due at the end of Jan/ early Feb. BTW who are you using for care for this pregnancy?

I am delivering at Skagit Valley Hospital. My dr is Arkunaul or something close to that. It's the closest VBAC hospital to the island. If I run into any resistance there, I will change my insurance and go to Providence at Everette.
We have church families in Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Memphis. Hopefully we find one here. Here is a list of the sermons and you can browse the site. I really don't have more info than that. I just listen and take notes. http://westsidechapeljax.com/scmedia...edia/list.php&

Re: Acts in the second trimester
Yeah, I hadn't thought of studying one book of the Bible for a trimester of pregnancy but that's a great idea. This pregnancy I've been convicted to focus on God instead of the pregnancy. In my past pregnancies I always got way distracted with focusing on the pregnancy. I think I'll start reading through the book of Acts!
Good idea!
