Winter. I dont go out much with a nb so havng two winter babies was great and they could wear lots and lots of nb wool. We dont time ours for a certain season as we have problems concieving and multiple miscarriages. I am happy to just get pregnant anytime.

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

I had one in March and soon will have two August babies. The March was nice but we were aiming for June this time. That would be my ideal. I am not fond of being huge and pregnant in the Summer.

I would love an April or May baby. You are just finding out you are pregnant in summer and you are not crazy pregnant during cold new England winters I had a January and Sept baby. I don't know of it was worse being insanely pregnant in summer or winter

If we were to get pregnant this month I believe it would be a May baby

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

I have a June baby and a November baby. With the November baby everyone was in town for the holidays and just had to see him and he ended up with RSV even though he was BFed. Now, we are struggling with what to do with him for school. He will be ready to start kindergarten next year but the cut off is October.

I want a spring baby! Mine and SO's anniversary is in the spring, and I just love the weather, especially when the sky is a brilliant blue, the temperature is just right and it seems like the whole world is waking up now that the cold has passed. I'd just love to bring my much longed for new baby home on a beautiful, balmy spring day.

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

I've had 2 August babies, 1 July baby, 1 May baby, and 1 November baby. My favorite was the May baby (born May 4th). I didn't have to be pregnant at all in the summer heat, and after he was born there were no sickies going around to worry about (my November baby got RSV!). Also easy to dress him since it was nice and warm.

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

February, May, September, and December is what I got now. I think my favorite was May. It's not too hot then. September can get hot. December was freezing and I hated taking the newborn out every morning to drop the older kids in school. He also got sick the first month he was born. February was ok too.
I'd love July baby. It's nice weather, cool at night (we live close to the Ocean), no school, and I don't have a July baby yet.

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

DD was born in September, I was due the end of October. I used to think I wanted a spring baby, but I think September/October may be ideal. It's horrid being pregnant in the summer, but snuggling a baby when it's cooler is great. I'm afraid I wouldn't want to hold a baby 24/7 (like DD needed) during the heat of the summer.

Re: Best time of year to deliver?

I had DD at the end of June and it was OK...I think if I could pick for my next I would give birth in early/mid May to miss some of the heat.
