I think it's really mean to take yoir dd away from her dad without explanation or saying goodbye. I'd re-think that

I too would rethink that for your daughter's sake.
Also, keep in the back of your mind your husband's instability and that this could throw him over the edge. I'm not saying this to get you to stay with him at all. I'm saying this because of all the craziness lately with people and a big red flag went on when reading this thread that if you run off and take your daughter and then "allow" him visitation when he's completely unstable,what happens when you're daughter's with him if he goes off the edge? If it was so terrible that you had to leave and your kids shouldn't be exposed to the extremes he's having, what happens when you're not there?
I don't mean to scare you but like I said, a big red flag went up for me and wondered if you left and took all that he had (wife, kids...) and he's so bad and not "medicated"/regulating his moods, what if the terrible of terribles happens???
Just something to think about that maybe if he's that bad, you should contact a family court lawyer and see if you can have temporary full custody until he's passed a psych eval. and been on some meds to regulate the moods. I'd worry about my daughter honestly.
