Need suggestions for a large stay-dry fitted!

Hi all

I've been CD'ing for about 8 months now and while daytime has been going well, I still can't find a nighttime solution that both works and is comfortable for my 14 month old girl! I've tried prefolds, pockets, fitteds, and putting stay-dry liners over the non-stay dry options. Nothing is working!! She has to have stay-dry or wakes up upset and if there's too much bulk she wakes up uncomfortable. Shes a VERY heavy wetter as well. I recently ordered a Motherease OS stay-dry fitted and while the amount of bulk works for her and the absorbency is good, it's too small for her waist. I can get it snapped, but the extra snaps out on the sides (for wind droop, I imagine?) cut into her skin. Any suggestions on something similar that's larger or comes in aplix?? TIA!

Omaiki O sleep diapers are OS but do have a larger fit, also they come with Aplix. We don't carry them as of now, but I'm sure if you google you could find some. (they are a Canadian diaper). I use them on my son and really like them.

What about snap covers for what she has now?

And mybabyfirst.com has some drybees fleece pockets...I don't think these are made anymore, but they work sooo well.

Sun Seedlings makes fitteds with an option for stay-dry inners. You can choose either snaps or aplix.

Thirsties duo fab fitteds with a hemp insert stuffed inside.

I love drybees but they are bulky.

Re: Need suggestions for a large stay-dry fitted!

I use the Motherease Sandy's with the stay dry liner from the One Size. It's worked out perfectly when the One Size ME fitteds were too small. My son is over 40 lbs now but we still use the Motherease stay dry absorbent liners in diapers we're using now since stay dry is a must for him but he reacts to fleece. The Cotton Babies stay dry suedecloth socks are another easy & inexpensive way to make any diaper stay dry.

MEOS stay dry with a snap in stay dry liner- put a hemp or bamboo doubler underneath the snap in liner and top it with wool or a ME airflow cover and you will have NO leaks! My ds is a super soaker and nurses all night still...15 mths old. IT works and is comfy and decently trim too!
