Major medical
Right now all we can afford is major medical insurance ($10,000 deductible). This does not cover maternity (we are planning to use a birthing center for our next baby, cost of $3500 total if paid ahead of time). This is all my DH job offers and we just barely don't qualify for state insurance.
Anyone in the same boat? It's really hard, we only go to the Dr. for really, really major things. :/ Sometime I feel like our kids deserve better...but what can ya do, right?

Re: Major medical
We have an HSA, which is essentially major medical. We have an $8000 deductible. But, we put money away each month in the HSA.
Have you every tried your local health dept.? Ours does sick child visits at certain hours for really cheap.
