Baby Girl Diet- Just for fun
We'll start TTC after my period in September. (We're shooting for a Summer baby) We have 2 boys. I love them both and I wouldn't change them for the world, but I would very much like a daughter and so would my hubby. I googled and there seems to be a different diet to follow when ttc a baby girl? Anyone try this? High in Calcium and Magnesium? What did you do? Anyone want to do it with me?

Re: Baby Girl Diet- Just for fun
Considering the male determines the sex of the baby the best way to do it is to calculate when you ovluate and try on the best day for a girl. I can't remember which swims faster and dies quicker, male or female sperm but there is a formula that is supposedly up to 60% effective.

Male sperm swim faster but die sooner. Girls are slower but live longer. :-)

I never looked into the diet thing, but my guess would be that IF it works it's something meant to alter your pH levels and make your body more "hostile" to sperm. So that the girl ones survive (bc they're heartier) and the males die off.
It wouldn't hurt to try it? At least it'll give you something to focus on? Lol! |

We swayed boy with diet, position, and timing, and despite my 16wk ultrasound saying girl, we ended up with a boy
