How many kids vs number of bedrooms do you have?

Title pretty much says it. How many kids? How many bedrooms? What ages and genders do you have sharing rooms?

Re: How many kids vs number of bedrooms do you have?

Technically we have 3 children in a 2 bedroom house. We use the dining room/enclosed back patio as a third bedroom. I have no issues with children sharing rooms or even beds but our oldest is a 13 year old girl. Our middle child is a 9 year old boy. Because of that they need separate rooms. We don't feel it would be appropriate for them to share at this age. Our youngest sleeps with us.

As young children my parents had a 2 bedroom house and between 4-6 kids. The 4 boys shared a bunk bed and my sister and I shared a bed. We were all in the same room. Ages we ranged in age from 13 years of age down to 3 years of age. When we started wih this situation my sister was 3 and when another room was added onto the house my older brother was around 13. Eventually the house had 4 bedrooms and up to 9 kids ranging from newborn to 17 years old.

3 kids, all girls, aged 10, 11 & 13. We have 5 bedrooms. The extra bedroom is a fitness room.

In our old house(just moved into this one) we had 4 bedrooms. They only shared a room when they were really little. my oldest moved to her own room in the basement when she was 5.

we have 2 soon to be 3 kids -16 years, 2 yrs and will have a newborn in the fall. We have a four bedroom and an extra(5th) "bacelorette" in our above ground basement. the teenager is moving downstairs this fall - babies will each have their own room, we have a room (where the newborn will be for a few months) and the extra is a computer room/office.

Technically 4 bedrooms, but we use the big "master" off the kitchen as the family office. So 3 bedrooms, two kids. Everyone gets their own room. Works great for us. If we had a 3rd kid, we would double up the same gender kids in one room (after they moved out of our room in infancy.)

We also have 4, but dh uses the master as his music room, so we have 3 "bedrooms". And we each have our own. If we have anymore kids the two older will share and the baby will have her/his own room

We have a 4 bedroom. Parents in one room, 2 boys ages 3 and 2 in one room, baby girl in one room and the extra room has a crib for when my friends come over with their kids and they need a place to nap. But we are moving soon to a 3 bedroom and we will have a parents room, a girls room, and a boys room.

We currently have 2 bedrooms for 2 kids (3 and 6) and myself, we're moving to a 3 bedroom but they will still share and I'm turning the master bedroom into a playroom
