Bottle Sizes
What size bottles does your newborn use?
She still only drinks 2 ounces a feeding, but most bottles are 4 or 5 ounces the smallest. But the bottle seems too big for her. What size bottles do you ladies use? |

Re: Bottle Sizes
I got a bunch of the little two ounce bottles from the hospital when my kids were born and used those while they were still taking two ounces at a time.

Re: Bottle Sizes
I thought those are one time use only, they told me the plastic can't withheld after washing and sterilizing much.

Re: Bottle Sizes
Gerber first essentials are a nice size for newborns. Plus they are a really good price. I think it's only 3 or 4 dollars for a 3 pack. They have been my ds favorite since we started.

Re: Bottle Sizes
I've seen the little 2 oz. ones at some Dollar Stores, so if you're wanting some, definitely check your local ones. If I'm not mistaken, I seen them at Roses once too.
We didn't use any bottles until 2 months, but when we did, we used the regular Gerber ones and glass Evenflo ones (all 4-5 oz. size). We are still using the same ones at 11.5 mos.

Re: Bottle Sizes
I just bought the full size 8-9 oz ones and used those the whole time. When my DD was that little it wasn't like she was holding the bottle anyway, and they were the same size around, just taller. That way I only needed one set of bottles, just had to get new nipples as she grew.
