I'm debating buying DS (2.5) an outdoor trampoline for Christmas. My husband is opposed, says such things get used for a couple of weeks and then get left to rust.

Do your kids use theirs, or was it just a temporary novelty?

every day. we've had it a few months and when we has visited family with a trampoline they always spend a lot of time on it. i have a 6.5 yr old, 5 yr old, 3 yr old and 20 month old

why not look around on craigslist? less investment to try it out

we've had it 3 years and it rarely gets used unless we have company

My boys practically live on theirs. As in they have even asked to take sleeping bags out and sleep on it. lol

We are on our 2nd trampoline. We had a horrible windstorm last fall and it "flung" our trampoline about 200 feet across the empty lot next door and bent it in 1/2.

They're totally worth the $$. It's awesome to get energy out and it's a super workout if you want to use it too :-)

Every. Single. Day!

I MAKE my kids jump on it for 5 minutes during school time when they get restless. I have to make them go out but then they love it!

My daughter will be 15 tomorrow. She got it for her 3rd birthday and she is on the thing every day. My other kids don't care terribly much about it. I think the boys would like it more if I would let them on at the same time and if they were a tad taller so they could get on and off quickly. Anyway, I was just thinking that we should buy her a new one since ours is really old and has seen better days. How long do those things last, anyway? Looks like it's in good shape but you never know, I guess!

We use ours alot. It was about $300 to start, outter padding only lasted a year, net lasted 2 and mat fastest 3 but a replacement was only $65. I think its really worth it.

We only have a tiny indoor one, but my kids use it multiple times a day. They will jump while watching TV.

We've had one for a few months. So far it gets a lot of use. Especially if I'm outside so I can watch them show off their moves.

We got ours at a garage sale for $50.
