Midwife recomendations in Upstate NY?

Hi everyone!

I moved to the Old Forge area about a year ago and I am having difficulty finding a midwife in the area. I have just been blessed with the surprise of being pregnant with my third little one and I am totally unprepared in the midwife department. None of the friends I have made use midwives so I haven't been able to get any good recommendations. I know I will most likely have to travel an hour which is fine, as long as I find someone that I can really trust and get along with. Anyone have any suggestions?

The closest that I know of is Michelle Doyle at Local Care Midwifery in Troy and she's amazing, but she's too far for you I think. But I'm pretty sure she'd know who is in your area. Here's her website if you want to ask for a recommendation:
