No weight loss...what gives?!?

I've been tracking my food intake religiously for about 6 weeks now. I eat about 1400-1500 calories per day and exercise 5 days a week. I'm down 8.5 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight but have not seen the scale move in a couple weeks. It's so frustrating!

Mon and Wed I go to Body Pump (60 minute weight training class)
Tues and Thurs I run 4 miles.
Sundays are my long run day so anywhere from 6-8 miles.

I'm trying to stay positive but I feel like I work out like a mad woman AND eat healthy and it's still not getting me anywhere.

I'm starting to get upset about it and I know I need to stay positive so I don't "fall off the wagon" and end up gaining everything back. What else can I try?

Maybe weight watchers? I wonder if you are eating enough calories......

You are most likely leaning out also...so while your not loosing weight, you are gaining muscle which weighs more than fat. Obviously your diet plays a huge part in loosing weight, make sure to keep it clean and avoid processed stuff.

You may not be eating enough calories depending on how much you are burning. I'm all about the sustainable diet, so eat what you enjoy, but in moderation. I would rather take longer to get the weight off, but be able to keep it off forever.

Your body might be used to your routine, so I would try to change things up a bit.

What are your current stats?

I would bump up your calories to 1700 and see if that helps.

Continue to strength train 2-3x/week and make sure you're lifting heavy!
