It's too early to be accurate. At 16 weeks, gender determination is only 60% accurate, and the genitals change in size 3x between weeks 16-19. I wouldn't believe anything earlier than 18 weeks, personally.

My ultrasound is set for Sept 11 - I'll be 19w3d (or 19w5d, depending on which DD they are using). Looking forward to seeing my little one! I have 4 boys so far and I'm making no guesses as to gender.
So nice to hear from you!!! You need to pop in more often! Or join our facebook group!

Also, my gender u/s is set for Sept 11 as well, and I'll be 19 weeks then too. Yay! Can't wait for us to find out!!!

Congrats Sarah! Also, I think that I've got the stickied document all updated. I can't believe how quickly it's already filling up with color!!

And just so everyone knows... we have no definite PINKS yet!!! But 6 BLUE (including Sarah's twins... yay!).

I've been leaning toward thinking this one is a boy, but we'll find out for sure in a week and a half.

A pink is generally indefinite until birth, and they're usually not even guessed at during these earlier scans. With boys it's more definite, as there's something to see (or to miss, depending on the angle). You'll hear way more anecdotes of the expected girl who turned out to be a boy than the expected boy who turned out to be a girl.

Re: Post Baby's Gender Here (or Team Green)

Wow lots of boys and I'm surprised that so many in the group are team green! I thought for a second about being team green, but DH said no way and then I realized that I have zero will power and would totally end up breaking anyways . We peeked at baby yesterday and the cord was between the legs for most of the u/s . I had a feeling we wouldn't be able to get a good look. It moved at the very end and the tech said that she's pretty sure we're going to be team pink, but we're going back in a week or so to recheck because she didn't want to call it and be wrong I didn't see any boy parts however and we did see a pretty convincing shot of the "3 lines" at the end. Not letting myself get too into the idea yet though because we're not sure.
