Re: Share your goals and progress for the day!

Yesterday I attended two soccer games, made 11 quarts of applesauce, made homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs for dinner, made pizza dough for today's dinner (it rises overnight), roasted a pumpkin for a pie, and cleaned the kitchen.

Today is another soccer game, making the pie and the pizza, and making the extensive list of things to do tomorrow while DD is occupied with her friend all day.

Should we start a new thread tomorrow for October?

Wow!! That's a pretty impressive list of finished tasks.

I like the idea of a new thread, too.

Thanks! My feet are killing me from standing all day. I actually sat through today's soccer game which I never do (too excitable).

Pie is in the oven, pizza sauce is simmering and dough is ready when the pie comes out. Soccer game was won. Now I just need to work on that list.

Great idea for an October thread. We went to my parents' this weekend. We all went to see a live production of the Wizard of Oz last night. so fun. Didn't get back home until lunch time today though.
-vacuumed the bedroom carpets
-moved my bed into our new bedroom
-moved 2 night stands into our new room
-moved ds's crib into his new room (our old room)
-washed/dusted all furniture/doors in new room
-washed/dryed load of clothes
/washed/hung up load of diapers

-dh finished laying the field tile in our shower tonight

Tomorrow will be a big catch up day around here. so many dishes and so little time.....

Re: Share your goals and progress for the day!

Yes, let's start an October thread! Maybe we can list some monthly goals we all have? Then continue with our daily progress?

I had a great weekend. Lots of fun stuff mixed in with progress around the house. I got a lot of laundry done (and put away). I also finally got time to work on sorting the kids' clothes. I went through both of their closets, and also worked on the stuff in storage. I kept a lot of my son's stuff, because we were team green again with this baby. But I'm passing down a lot of it to my friend (due with a boy this winter) and donating some to Goodwill, and only keeping a little bit. I still need to do a bit more but their rooms are purged of clothes at least. I have a heaping laundry basket of boy clothes for my friend to sort through, and that doesn't include anything that was in storage.

We bought the kids their winter jackets and such this weekend, ran some errands, dropped off a load at Goodwill, and got a few other things done around the house. But we also made multiple trips to the park, hit up the farmer's market, met up with friends a few times, saw my mom for a bit today, etc. I'm about to finally crash for the night, I'm really tired but it's a happy tired.

2,014 items in 2014?
