Talked to the MW today and she was just up the road so she stopped by to do an internal check. This was my first one and wasn't nearly as painful as I expected it to be. 75% effaced and 1-2cm. My cervix is still too posterior for her to attempt to sweep the membranes. Progress, but still no telling when we'll meet the LO. This MW is on call till 10 tonight, then one of the other ones picks up. I like all 3, but today's is the one we've seen the most and I most want at my birth. Time to get back to cleaning and hope that moving around a bit more will encourage some dilation!!

Serious contractions now.

Five minutes or less apart. They took a nice long break today during the day and showed up full force a little over an hour ago...

That was a hard sentence to type through a contraction!

We just put everything in the car and are having DH mom come over to watch the baby for the night, before we call the MW here in about 15 or 20 minutes. I'll be surprised if we don't have a baby by tomorrow night, but it faked us out this morning, so... fingers crossed!

Five minutes or less apart. They took a nice long break today during the day and showed up full force a little over an hour ago...

That was a hard sentence to type through a contraction!

We just put everything in the car and are having DH mom come over to watch the baby for the night, before we call the MW here in about 15 or 20 minutes. I'll be surprised if we don't have a baby by tomorrow night, but it faked us out this morning, so... fingers crossed!

How exciting! Hope all is going well for you!

My August babe has turned into a September babe. I keep losing more mucous plug. We might just have to go tailgating for a bit today. Maybe that will help.
