Do you have your bag packed yet??
What's in it??
My pregnancy brain is really bad this time around so even thought I've already done this twice I feel like I can't get a good list for what to pack. I don't have enough stuff to have things sitting in a bag by the door so I have to just make a list and grab everything once we are headed to the hospital. But I have to have a list so that I don't forget anything. Also I have 4 people to pack for. So for for me I have -Shower stuff (I did buy a little kit for this with little bottles of s/c, body wash, deoderant, toothbrush and toothpaste. -2 sets of comfortable clothes and easy to nurse in -Something to wear home -Camera and charger -Phone and charger -my pillow -mama cloth.....I really need to get my pp mama cloth made For the baby this can and will be already packed. -Diapers -wipes -wetbag -hats and sleepsacks -2 blankets incase she doesn't like the sleepsacks -Going home outfit -carseat blanket -carseat is already in the car For my two older girls going to my moms -2 outfits each -2 sets night clothes -underwear and diapers/wipes -wetbag -toothbrushes -playpen -going home outfits to match babys I still have to get these made for all three too. so what are you planning to bring and what am I missing?

Re: Do you have your bag packed yet??
I sort of do. I have had a LOT of contractions already and I packed quickly a couple weeks ago on the way to L&D to make sure I wasn't dilating. I don't have much yet. Just the basics, like toothbrush/paste, hairbrush and soap, deodorant and a change of clothes for me. I didn't pack anything for the baby yet. We don't even had a going home outfit. Maybe I should think about that.
I'll probably wait till I'm in early labor to put in things like my camera and phone charger. But, I should make a short list and stick it in there so I don't forget.

Got my bags packed last week. I will be 35 weeks on Wednesday. I only need to grab the last minute stuff when it is time-cell phones, chargers, iPads, camera.
For me Toiletries Cotton skirt to wear after since they like to check the bleeding Nursing tank and nursing bra Cheap underwear to throw away- hate the mesh ones Snacks for labor and after Bathing suit top to wear in birthing tub Going home outfit-yoga pants and shirt Lansinoh Boppy For baby Going home outfit Blanket Undershirt For my 2 boys who will be at the birth Nintendo ds Mini lego kit Puzzlebuzz magazines and a few books Change of clothes Not doing cloth at the hospital. Tried to keep the packing light since we brought too much stuff with my last 2 that we never used.

Re: Do you have your bag packed yet??
Oh my goodness, I hadn't even thought about packing a bag for DD for when my parents pick her up...so glad I saw that on your lists!!
I haven't packed yet since I'm only just 34 weeks tomorrow, but I have been thinking about it. I'll have a couple sleepers, a nice swaddle blanket, and a cute hat for baby. Then some comfortable clothes for me to wear, including nursing bra and tanks, toiletries, and the usual camera/phone/chargers, etc. I packed too much with DD, so I don't want to bring too much this time. Plus we live 5 minutes from the hospital, so DH can always run home and get whatever I need, which is nice. Can't believe we are already talking about this...it's coming so soon! YAY!

I have my L&D bag packed, and have for a while, since I'm high risk for preterm labor, but have not packed my hospital stay/going home bag yet. I like to use as many things as I can that are provided by the hospital. I like seeing other people's lists, though. I'm reminded of everything I'm forgetting!
L&D bag: lip balm, hair ties, hard candies/mints, sleep nursing bras, tennis ball, snacks for dh, camera, phones, chargers, lap top, pocket doula handbook Hospital/going home bag: For dh and I - tooth brushes, tooth paste, hair brush/comb, deodorant, jammies, slippers, coming home clothes For baby- swaddle blankets, newborn and 0-3 month outfits For nursing- nursing pads, boppy, nursing bras I also want to have a small gift for my older two. I still need to figure out what to get them.

My labor bag is not packed but I'm mostly packed for the hospital stay. I have a few outfits for baby, a couple of blankets, travel shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste, nursing bra and pads, and nursing pajamas. I need a going home outfit for myself but that would require packing one of the 4 shirts I still fit into lol

Re: Do you have your bag packed yet??
Those getting little gifts for older siblings - what kind of things are you giving them? DD LOVES to give baby gifts, so we picked out a little thing that she can bring to the hospital to give to baby, but I'm thinking it would be nice to have a little present from baby to her too. Just not sure what would be good...
