Method for Stuffing/Folding Pockets

My husband just laughed at me about the way I fold and stuff my diapers, which are mostly pockets. I like to separate all the types and sizes of inserts into piles, fold the wipes and then stuff the pockets. It ends up like this:

Inserts in piles

Basket of diapers to be stuffed

Am I the only one who does it like this? He thinks I should stuff as I pull them out of the basket, but I just can't organize like that! I don't always stuff the same inserts in the same diaper, and I like to make one or two "triple stuffed" for outings or whatever. How do you do it?

Re: Method for Stuffing/Folding Pockets

I do that too! I separate all my inserts by type/brand and then do the same with my dipes, then stuff!

I love diaper laundry! Lol
I fold all the wipes in half and match up diapers with their inserts or doublers as I go. I pile them up according to type: fitteds, pockets with aplix, bamboo pockets, snap AIOs, aplix AIO's, etc...right now I am in a pocket phase.

Re: Method for Stuffing/Folding Pockets

I sort the basket into piles for each type (wipes, inserts, diaper styles), fold the wipes and doublers, fold the tongue into the Tots Bots, then stuff all the pockets. Then I put the diapers in ROY G BIV order with prints and non-rainbow colours at the end from dark to light/solid to print. I'm accused of being a little anal...

I do mine almost exactly like you! I do feel like it could be shortened time wise but i like to make sure my fave stuffins get used and not the thinner back ups if the awesome hemp is still in the bottom of the basket undiscovered lol! But then I'm never a fast laundry sorter/folder/putter-awayer
