Tie-dying Mama cloth

Anyone do this? Is it the same process as tie dying other clothes, or do I need to do something special? I've dyed cotton diapers and shirts, but no other kind of material. Thanks!

Usually you dye the fabric before you sew it up. Are your pads already made? Synthetic fabrics don't take dyes very well sometimes.

They're already made. They're white Charlie Bananas.

I have some CB mama cloth too. I think they're fleece-topped? I don't think they'd absorb dye well since the material is supposed to wash clean?

I don't think those would take dye very well, considering the materials they are made from.

Thanks, I'm glad I asked here before I tried it. I guess I'll stick with the white. Kinda boring, but functional.
