Best Cloth Overnight Dipe?

I'm currently using sposies for DS but would like to switch to cloth for nighttime. He is a moderately heavy wetter. What brand works best for you? I have heard the KaWaii Heavy Wetter dipes are good...thoughts?

Not a fan of microfiber personally and that is what kawaii ones come with but you could try flip organics or thirsties hemp prefolds stuffed in whatever you use now for a starts many people have luck with these over night

I am in the same boat, 8 month old- heavy night wetter. Some one recomended wool, so I tried them for overnight, wasn't too thrilled.

My 7 month old is a really heavy wetter and a side sleeper.. She was peeing out of Huggies Overnight almost every night. I now put 3 Alva bamboo inserts inside of a flip cover and it holds her 11 hours with no leaks. I lay a stay dry fleece liner inside. I also use the "heavy wetter" hemp prefolds from Cloth Diapers Inc trifolded in a Flip cover with good success too. I would definitely stay away from pockets at night. They just don't offer good leak protection at night.

Re: Best Cloth Overnight Dipe?

We are using wool over MEOS or sandys with a hemp babies little weeds with a fleece liner. I fold the hemp so that there's 8 layers up front for ds and this works perfectly. He's 4 months but nurses frequently from 2 am on so he can pee. I have noticed that there's a huge difference in the wetness in the fitted when wool vs pul - with pul the fitted is very wet after 10-12 hours but with wool it breathes enough to allow evaporation so the fitted is much drier. The hemp is always wet.
I thought this wool business was silly until we switched. No red buns and no leaks.

I really like my Serene Slumbers (obvously, lol). I use them under wool interlock or fleece (EmotiBums or mama made).

I think Rainshine Designs also makes a popular nighttime fitted, as well as Little Fancy Pants. Little Boppers may have one as well

Re: Best Cloth Overnight Dipe?

I bought some used Holden's Landing "bedbug" night diapers, these are bulky but work amazingly well--hold a TON of pee. Flips cover. Need to try wool. I usually lay in a fleece liner to make it stay dry.

Awesome suggestions Mamas! I think I'm going to try some hemp inserts or prefolds first and see how that goes.
