Meg - I like those colors! Very cute

I really need to dig through things and figure out what to start working on. Sometime soon, lol.

Re: Baby Craft thread

I agree- I love the colors in the hat!

My upcoming project is to make 3 of these (2 white, 1 lavender) for the baby's room to match her PBK Brooklyn bedding:

I still need to get lighting fixtures to mount them on.

I may also make these to match:

I ordered this in a 20"x 13" for my older daughter so she doesn't feel left out that the baby's room is being decorated. It'll need to be framed. I also have a friend who is going to do a mermaid painting for her room.

I love those light fixtures! And the sign for your older daughter is great! I'm sure she'll love it

That lamp is cool! I think it would look neat just the hanging ball, too!

What is the 2nd thing?

They're lace spray painted against small canvases to leave a negative impression of the lace.

Oh my word I love these shoes!
So far I haven't planned anything. My mom wants to do the nursery, she wants to make it John Deere whether its a boy or girl, if its a girl she'll add pink and lace to some things. I did the whole fancy nursery for DS so I'm ok with giving my mom full rein for this nursery.
I do have some fish stick design patterns I want to make but I probably don't get around to it until after the holidays, and our wedding is Dec 29th

On a related note...

Has anyone converted regular pants to maternity? Know of a tutorial I can check out?

Finding pants to fit is going to be a royal pain. Last time I managed to find some shorts that happened to have an elastic waist, and lived in skirts the rest of the time.

Oh, and I'm already super sick of the belly band, I even think about bending down and it slides up in the back.

here - don't like the page layout at all, but I've seen this tutorial elsewhere (someone's blog or something) and it looks like it would work out well.

another one - seems similar to the first

another - don't think I'd like the fabric used, seems too thick?

this one has only a small band (front of waistband replaced) instead of the full panel.

another with the thicker fabric/panel
