Got DH to agree to some demos after assuring him it was normal, and agreeing to let him aim at cheerios. Lol

I guess the signs for me were when he would actually go pee on the potty. At first we did lots of naked time and I would take him to sit on it every 20 minutes. If he didn't go then no biggie. Eventually he did. It will happen. But the very first signs were when he would even notice he was wet in his diaper or would go poop at a specific time of day. Since it was predictable I would just take him to the bathroom when I knew he was about to poop and sit him on there. Both my children were poop trained before they ever started peeing in the toilet.
