Buy dishwasher safe water pouches (water bottles made like pouches) and put the babyfood in. I usually use fruit mixes and the littles love it. I've also done veggie mixes.

That's what we get too. I don't even have them print the checks for DDs babyfood because I refuse to give her the jars of premade. I make all my own homemade baby foods. I asked if there was anyway just to get another produce voucher for her instead but they can't override the system at all. Which sucks because the produce voucher would be healthier, taste better, and be cheaper for them than all the jars of baby food.

If you aren't going to use the jar foods, then I would suggest not even using those checks. If you don't buy the things you won't use, then WIC has more funds to help more people

Seems like a waste of resources to just not get them. Dfs doesn't eat veggies AT ALL but thanks to the advice here I now sneak his veggies in everything! He gets 32 jars a month but is on all table foods.

Look up The Sneaky Chef. She's come up with TONS of recipes that incorporate hidden purred fruits and veggies into recipes for all ages. She actually have a recipe for a chocolate chip cookie cake that you can put carrot puree in! Yum!
