My Awesome Introduction!!
first and most important - my name is molly, my baby's name is calvin. he is 4 months old and the best thing in my life! i have a wonderful hubby who is working full time and overtime to let me stay at home with our baby
i go to school part-time (will only be taking a couple of classes this year so as to stay at home as much as possible) and am working toward a nursing degree. because i am pretty much taking this year off, i still have 3 years left (2 full-time years) until i have my RN. my husband and i just bought our first house a few months ago, at exactly the same time as we were having our baby! i know, we're nuts! i didn't have an easy pregnancy, and if you want to talk about doctors/nurses overstepping their bounds, pregnancy and birthing intervention, or going through a pregnancy with a chronic disease (i have juvenile (type 1) diabetes, i've had it since i was 11 and it was like i was just getting diagnosed again when i was pregnant because everything went so wacky and unfamiliar!), post here or pm me!my baby has two sisters and two brothers: a basset hounds named pansy, a cat named leela, a cat named cliff, and a horse named amear. i work part-time (like 15 hours a month or so) at a new and used children's store. i get to take my baby to work with me!! ![]() i'm from the pacific northwest and i love it here! i've lived here all my life! i'm 26 years old. i LOVE LOVE LOVE cloth diapers!! i looked at them so much in stores and online while i was pregant, that i now consider myself a SUPER - EXPERT! i pretty much have the GMD website memorized! LOL! i like pockets a lot, but my favorite dipes are the GMD prefolds with a pull-on wool soaker. i have an ENORMOUS diaper and cover stash, with several different types. right now, i'm trying to cut it down to the types that i've found i like the best and work best for my baby. i'm a cloth-diapering, babywearing, exclusively breastfeeding, VAXING (don't even get me started on why i think you SHOULD vax your baby...but it's cool, we all have our own opinions), non-circumcising, stay at home mom! we eat local and we love the taste! so we're a little crunchy but not totally! nice to meet you! |
