Right Occiput Anterior- need to turn asap

So at my check MW said baby turned ROA again I did stairs 2 at a time, then went on a walk and did godzilla steps. What else do I need to do to turn baby asap?

4.5 cm dilated 80% effaced she said the sweep went great had bloody show from it already. Blood pressure 110/60 and baby heart rate 156. I really hope this works!

Sorry I had that baby was posterior that wasn't right.

Have you tried using an exercise ball. Also the follow site has some really good tips, and techniques for turning babies, I used it when I was pregnant. You're almost there!! Hang in there!!!

Re: Right Occiput Anterior- need to turn asap

OA is a good thing - and ROA isn't the worst position! I'd take it over OP.
But, LOA is the ideal position. So you need to try to get baby's back on your left side is all - hands and knees (do you have a birthing/exercise ball you could lean over? I always find it more comfortable that way), sitting/bouncing on the ball, leaning forward (while standing or sitting) can help, or even just laying on your left side may work.

Ashley - Thank you for mentioning me! I swear, I don't know all that much! I just like to read whatever I can find, to be as informed as I can - anything I learn that I can help someone else with is awesome!

I always found spinningbabies to be overwhelming.

Check out milescircuit.com

And right isn't ideal, but it's like second best! You should be good!

Do you mean right?

This site has good ideas for positioning baby better before and during labor.

LOA vs. ROA
