Nighttime training 3 year old

my son is 3 years 3 months. he's been potty trained during the day for awhile.

at night we used either disposable pull-ups or flip trainers. about half the time he wakes up dry in the morning. the other half of the time he's absolutely soaked, to where i have to change his sheets.

should i not even worry about trainers at this point? is there something else i should be doing?

Re: Nighttime training 3 year old

I kept DD1 in night time pull ups until she was waking up dry at least 6/7 nights (about 3.5 years old). Then I switched to trainers, and except for 1 accident which was 100% my fault (let her have 3 cups of juice with dinner at grandmas, then forgot to have her use the potty before we left and she fell asleep on the way home), no accidents. I'd just wait. I personally don't see the point in making a huge deal in a child that age. I know it's important to some, but it didn't bother me at all.
