This is exactly how I do it. It works well for us.

I need to do this as well- just did a kid clothes and toys purge so now I need to do:

-paper
-linens
-my clothes

Left the computer upstairs while the baby was napping so I couldn't enter consignment tags, but I did continue pinning and hanging up. But the more I prep for sale, the more I find! And I really, really thought I cut down on buying baby clothes last season.

Can't wait until drop-off Monday when it's all out of the house!

I went through my recipe binder last night and got rid of a ton I have had for a few years and never used. I kept the ones we cook often and kept the seasonal ones we use as well.

joining in ladies. i hope i'm allowed to do that. we are currently in process of purging and renovating our house cause we have to move in a few months. hubby got a new job and has to move within a certain radius per company/union regulations. so i'm trying to toss stuff as we go. i have a fully loaded truck right now with some demo and junk from just 2 rooms. i'm disgusted to say the least about all the stuff. wow!!

ok this is small but DD and I just washed up a bathtub toy set and will be regifting it to our niece for her birthday. Our kids don't play with it, and it's in such good condition.

I'm in! I'd like to just make a goal of rooms to tackle. They are our master bedroom, DS 5's room and our office. (the office is the pit of the house.)

I've already started, but every room is unfinished. I seem to work that way.

Re: The Big September Purge

I'm on the 40 day purge and I'm not sure how I feel about it. No room gets completely done. So I think I'm going to start in one room and finish it before I move to the next room.

I'm also stuck on cloth diapers. I'm just not feeling the love anymore. I used cloth 3/4 for ds1 and 100% for dd but now with Ds2 I just don't want to. Is it worth signing up to sell them on fsot? I have beautiful very baby diapers that i made, plus meos in varying degrees of wear. Plus I wouldn't have a clue how to price them since I have bought diapers in a couple years. Any thoughts?

I think the 40-day purge and the mini challenges are great...when you're already at a mostly purged place. I'm not, so I find I need to purge what bothers me the most when I have the ability to purge it.

I think you should definitely let go of the diapers if you're not feeling it. You're not saving any money with them stored away. In terms of pricing, I have no ideas, though!

Re: The Big September Purge

thx, there are days the diapers give me great guilt that I'm not using them... I guess DH and I need to talk budget to see if I should put one more effort into the cloth...

I'll maybe pop into fsot and see about prices.
