Wetbags similar to Monkey Foot Designs?

I splurged on a Monkey Foot Designs wetbag and LOVED it--the huge zipper, the super-thick lining...but apparently they can't handle hot water. I do a cold rinse, hot wash, couple cold rinses (I did not use ANYTHING in the wash besides the CD safe detergent). After the first wash it came out discolored along the top, and I contacted the owner. She was really sweet, but agreed it must have been the hot water. So now I'm back at square one.

I have Leslie's Boutique, and Planetwise wetbags and while the bags themselves have held up great for well over 2-3 years, I HATE the tiny zippers on them. I've had no issues whatsoever washing those in hot but I need a couple more now that we have two in cloth but I want something that will hold up nice AND have great zippers. Anyone know of anything?

I really like diaperpalz.com I've not used monkey foot designs, but the zippers on diaperpalz are a ton better/bigger than planetwise

Are they pretty thick PUL, and hold up well? Thanks for the info!

I have TONS of MFD here is what I do and never a problem I won't buy any other kind! I do all hot wash/cold rinse in a TL. With the prerinse I use bleach and keep the wetbag out. I wash with detergent and add the wetbag snaps unsnapped & inside out. Take wetbag out to hang dry and do a post rinse on rest of the dipes. So sorry mama!

Sorry to hear that about ur mfd... We LOVE ours!!!! I wash on hot whenever I use mine...

MFD is also my favorite - we wash it in hot water all the time with no issues!

No. They are single layer PUL, very thin. I bought 4, and none of the zippers on mine were seen well. They had gaping at either end where they weren't seen completely into the fabric.

Did you take any pictures and send to Kris - I can't believe they would not replace - I've had several of mine for 2 years washing multiple times per week on hot and never an issue - what design was it? It sounds like maybe it was the fabric. I'm so sad for you they are my hands down fav fav fav what a HUGE bummer!
