Re: Am I the only one who has found microfiber not to be stinky?

Well, I on't think it's always wash routine, lol. I use tide, have a top loader and soft water. I had no problems for the first year when suddenly, I did...no other variables changed. I think that microfiber can get old--it was losing absorbancy at that point--and I could have just as easily replaced it with more mf, but flour sack towels were cheaper, lol. Miracle of miracles, replaced the mf, did nothing to routine and stinkies are gone. I suppose it's all in my head...

I could not even give MF a chance to get stinky or not, it snags on my hands and gives me the creepy "fingernails-on-chalkboard" chills.
I hate the feel of new microfiber for this reason however after some time that snaggy sticky icky feeling has left my mirofiber they now jsut feel like a soft terry towel. Mine have gained assorbancy as well not lost it..
Overall I still prefer natural inners as I do sometime have rinsing issues with microfiber but I've never had issues getting it clean.

I CD'ed for 2 two years with no MF stink. But when it struck, it was bad. I had to try a lot of things to make it go away, and at that point I just ditched it.

We have been using microfiber in our bumGenius 4.0's for 15 months so far, and haven't had any stink issues!

Yes, you just spray on diapers, inserts, etc.

I successfully used mf for about 6 months. Stink wasn't our issue but DS just peed too much. I think mf works just fine for many people. I have 2 friends that have CD'd multiple children using BG products and the mf they came with.

I never had stink issues with microfiber. We don't use them anymore because there are other things that are trimmer and more absorbent.
