Tips on HS multiple PSers?
I have a 3 yr and 2yr. The 2yr loves sitting at the table to color, draw, cut, place stickers, playdough, anything. He also likes to sit and do puzzles, match games and read. DS1, 3yr, does not. But he will sit forever to push his train back and forth on the wooden tracks. Ds1 will be 4 in Feb
and DS2 will be 3 in Jan I feel like the only mom around here who didnt put her 3yr old in PS. Here it is very very common for 2 yrs of PS. So I decided to start regular table time with Ds1 at home. We tried it today and he did do a whole cutting project (took about 5 min) then he was done. I feel like he should be able to sit still longer and focus. Also I know he needs to start working on more PS skills, cutting, recognize letters, ect. DS2 sat and did 6 pictures from a coloring work books (match color, find shape) I ended up spending most of my time with Ds2 bc he was intersted. I dont know what to do with DS1. I guess I will also have to carve out some one on one table time? So I guess I am looking for things that might intersted a 3-4 yr old boy obssessed with trains, tractors and all things transportation but teach PS skills. I am also looking for tips on how to work with 2 LOs so close in age. TY!!

Re: Tips on HS multiple PSers?
If you want to buy curriculum I'd say Heart of Dakota would be a good choice. It gets the kids up and moving, I really liked the program and may repeat it again with my little guy. My kids are 2 years apart but I tried HOD with both of them last year. DS1 is really active and he loved it. It only took about 30 minutes a day. We started working with DS1 when he was 2 and some days he could only do 5 minutes but now he's worked his way up and can do about 2 hours of school- he's 4 but doing Kindergarten math, reading, handwriting, and we do circle time which is fun and we get up and move around. Today we did 45min and he got distracted so I told him he could play for a bit and we'd go back to school work in a few minutes. When we go back to sit down I'll probably give him a snack to eat while he does his reading...I find he gets less distracted if I give him grapes or something so munch on while he has sit down work. He knows he has to sit down with food so we might as well cram some school work in while sitting!
